Journey Into the Rocky Mountains!

While many visitors to the Denver area have specific sites they would like to see, many are happy to let our team create a custom itinerary that fits their interests, budget, mobility, and timeline.

No two groups are alike and we will plan a trip tailored to your group’s interests, budget, and needs. Below are some sample itineraries to use as inspiration for your perfect tour:

Depending on where you’d like to explore, you’ll head out of Denver and start off with a drive to your first destination, after picking you up at your hotel or rental. Along the way, you’ll get to know your guide and hear some history about Denver and the surrounding area. As you wind through the quintessential Colorado landscape, you’ll learn about the adventures had “out West” by some well-known historical characters as well as the modern-day attractions locals and visitors are drawn to.

Half-Day Tour:

This tour is designed to highlight the best of the Denver area (6 hours): the natural landscape, mountain peaks, and unique Colorado towns. Perhaps you’ll want to head to the mountains first, like Mount Evans, the peak dominating the Denver horizon, to drive on the highest paved road in North America, or over to another “fourteener” like Grays Peak.

There’s also plenty of natural spaces to choose from, like Rocky Flats National Wildlife Refuge or Golden Gate Canyon State Park. There’s also numerous quaint, eclectic, and picturesque towns along the way, such as Idaho Springs, Georgetown, Nederland, Georgetown, Golden, or Boulder. On a shorter tour through the Mountain Tops and Towns, you’ll probably be limited to 3-4 stops, depending on driving time and distance.

Full-Day Tour:

A full-day tour (7-10 hours) offers the chance to enjoy plenty of time at the stops you choose. If you’re up for more adventure, let your guide show you the best nearby hiking trails for unforgettable views, fascinating ecology, and excellent wildlife spotting locations of the Rocky Mountain foothills.

Take time to wander the streets of towns like Golden or Boulder, sitting down to have a meal at a local restaurant – or maybe even have a taste of the Rockies at the Coors Brewery or another fantastic craft brewery (or a few!). Your Rockies wish is our command!
